Since last year there is news floating around about a cheap and less powerful X-Box Series X console. Which has been allocated with codename of ‘LOCKHART’. A leaked document of Microsoft with references about ‘LOCKHART’ console and multiple “Project Scarlett consoles” has been posted on Twitter. 

In the mean time another report came with more news about the specifs of ‘LOCKHART’ console. Included 7.5GB of usable RAM. It has also been wondered that Lockhart console Xbox will come up with the support of 1080p or 1440p gaming. It is pretty much early to give confirmation about all these specifications. Because we still need to wait for endorsement of Microsoft on all of these rumored specs.

Reference of Project Scarlett can be seen in the leaked Microsoft document. Microsoft revealed last year about the codename for the next-generation XBOX, “The X-BOX Series X”. It is said that the in its upcoming series XBOX is going to introduce both a high-end and an affordable one. Going to be called ‘ANACONDA’ and ‘LOCKHART’ respectively.

Additional enormous features of X-Box Series X

According to another resource, we came to know about the ‘Lockhart Profiling’ mode. Which has been included in the newly leaked Microsoft document, refers to Xbox Series X developer kit. The codename of the developer’s kit, it has been earlier spotted in Xbox One operating system as Dante alongwith links to ‘Lockhart’.

Xbox Lockhart would not only come up with a huge RAM, it is also going to have 4 teraflops of GPU inducted. That is going to support 1080p or 1440p gaming experience. It is rumored that this edition of Xbox codenamed as Lockhart will be given as an official name of Xbox series X.

Earlier in February Microsoft announced that console of XBOX Series X will be introduced with customized eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, having the processing speed up to 3.8 GHz. For handling heavy graphics it will come up with a customized RDNA 2 Class GPU with 12 teraflops of high power and 52 compute units, clocked at 1.82 GHz each. They also claimed that the resolution of 8K would also be supported with XBOX Series X.
